The famous American writer, Stephen Kinghas surprised everyone after a recent publication on his official X profile, formerly known as Twitter, in which he rated ‘The dining room table’a black comedy and horror film released in 2022, directed by Caye Casas.
“On Amazon Prime and Apple+ there is a Spanish movie called ‘The Coffee Table’. I guess you have never, not once in your entire life, hHave you seen such a black movie (black comedy) like this one?. It’s terribly funny. Think of the Coen Brothers’ darkest dream,” King has written.
The leading actor of the feature film, David Pareja, has given the best possible answerusing a certain amount of irony, but grateful a thousand times for his words.
“Thank you very much to this tweeter for this compliment to our film. I can not believe it! Thank you, Stephen!”, the couple wrote in a quote from X in response to the tweet. The director, Caye Casas, spoke very excitedly: “My God! What has happened! I can’t believe it! The king of terror! Dream unlocked.”
King’s words have reached 12,000 likes and 1.4 million views, while Pareja has accumulated more than 5,000 likes with his thanks.
