The Camuzzi Gas del Sur company confirmed the same results of the last inspections this week and last year.
Following the complaint of a sector of the educational community, the sixth inspection of the Camuzzi company was carried out at the Higher Institute of Teacher Training (ISFD) No. 6 in the span of eight days to carry out gas and carbon monoxide measurement tests. . No presence of them was detected in the establishment.
The company’s intervention this Friday was due to the fact that it is obliged to do so due to the dissemination of information linked to possible gas losses. After the tour with explosimeters through all the environments that have gas devices, the same results issued in five other inspections carried out since last May 3, and in the two minutes issued last year, were ratified. There was no accumulation of carbon monoxide or gas leaks.
This Friday, five inspectors from Camuzzi Gas del Sur verified the safety conditions of the devices in the school building in the presence of the technical maintenance team of the Ministry of Education, chaired by Javier De La Vía; the coordinator of Levels and Modalities, Verónica Crespo; the vice director of the Tertiary level, Luis Muñoz; the regent of the Application Department (initial and primary levels), María Cristina De Los Ríos; and the Tertiary Academic Secretary, Patricia Tarcaya. At the end of the inspections, the company proceeded to tour the facilities again with two mothers present on site.
ISFD No. 6 has an enrollment of 377 boys and girls between the initial and primary levels – in morning and afternoon shifts – and 50 teachers, and classes have been held normally since the beginning of the school year. At the tertiary level, enrollment is 1,600 students, in morning and afternoon shifts with primary and tertiary courses and 245 teachers.
The last note presented to the institution with claims for possible gas losses was made with 12 signatures from teachers and family representatives.
