Entre Ríos national deputy Pedro Galimberti (UCR-Juntos por Entre Ríos) presented a bill to reduce VAT on electricity, water and gas services for economic activities and for residential users. The leader also pointed out the government of Javier Milei.

VAT on services: what the Galimberti project says

According to the initiative presented by the former mayor of Chajari, Value Added Tax (VAT) on services It would drop from 27% to 21% for businesses, while in homes it would drop by half: from 21% to 10.5%.

“This would not have a significant fiscal impact for the National State and would allow citizens to face the progressive reduction of subsidies in these services,” Galimberti indicated through social networks. And he added: “The project promotes a modification of article 28 of Law No. 20,631 on Value Added Tax and, if successful, would reduce the fiscal cost of small taxpayers who opted for the simplified regime, or monotax, and the purchasing capacity for the final consumer“.

The former president of the UCR of Entre Ríos also criticized the direction of Javier Milei’s management: “The National State spends less, collects more and concentrates resources that are not shared. In the last 5 months there was no fiscal support from the State for the benefit of the citizens.”
