The Palma photographer Emilio Barrionuevo won the Photography World Cup this Saturday at the WPC 2024 Awards that were held in Dallas (Texas).
The international contest qualifies the best images in several categories. Barrionuevo has won one of the awards for ‘Best Natural Portrait’.
“The time change has me fried, but I remember a lot about everyone and I want to say publicly that this award is dedicated to La Palma and its people. But above all to the love of my life, to Sandra who is going through a delicate moment of health and I am sure that everything will go smoothly,” he expressed on his social networks.
“It is a great pride for me to represent not only Spain but an Island, the most beautiful with its beautiful people,” he published a few hours before the contest.
