“Proyecto Muros + Recreation del Sur” is the meeting between the photographic social nature project of Sol Perez and the presentation of the book “Recreation of the South” by the recreationologist Luciano Mercado.

For lovers of art, culture and recreation it will be a different experience that seeks to immerse themselves in the world of creativity and reflection. It promises to be a day full of inspiration and enrichment.

An Invitation to (Re)Live the Muros Project Exhibition

Proyecto Muros is an initiative that has left traces on the streets of different cities in Latin America. Photographer Sol Pérez, a visual artist born in 1983 in the city of Córdoba, with training at the National University of Córdoba, has dedicated her career to exploring the intersections between image and community, between art and action. This Saturday Sol Pérez, the creative mind behind Proyecto Muros, will be present to tell stories, revive her ideas and share her experience.

Walls Project in Brasilia, Brazil

With a series of photographic exhibitions in public spaces, Proyecto Muros has challenged the boundaries between art and community, inviting passersby to take a piece from the exhibition with them and share its final destination on the project’s social networks. An experience that fuses the visual with the social, the aesthetic with the political, in an insurrectionary alchemy of play, art, creation and presence.

Southern Recreation Presentation: A Book for Reflection and Action

In this recreational experience, we will also reflect on the fascinating world of community recreation through the book “Recreación del Sur”. Written by Luciano Mercado de Córdoba, recreationologist, Physical Education teacher and graduate in Social Therapy, this book offers a deep and reflective look at the transformative potential of recreation in social and community contexts. From his extensive work experience in mental , addictions, higher education and free time practices, Luciano Mercado invites us to reflect on the power of play, creativity and community participation to build a more just and equitable world.

This Saturday at 5 p.m. an invitation to explore and experience photography, art, play, creation, presence, poetics and politics in an insurrectionary and playful alchemy.

Date: Saturday 05/11, 5:00 p.m.
