From Javier Milei and Marcos Peña to Mariana Enriquez and Rolón, we take a look at some of the unmissable meetings offered by the Fair in La Rural

Expectations and many plans for those who visit the city year after year. International Book Fair from Buenos Aires. A new edition has just started, number 48. It opened its doors this Thursday, April 25 and will not stop during the 19 days it lasts: it will end on Monday, May 13.

Within its long, gigantic and eclectic program, what are the activities that are presumed to be massive? How to select from so many events? Below is a list of the 10 most popular.

Without a doubt, the most massive will be the one headed by the president Javier Milei. Will present the book Capitalism, socialism and the neoclassical trapa series of articles that, according to what the president told Infobaeconcluded in the long plane trips he took since he took office.

This work will be presented at the Book Fair on Sunday the 12th. It will not be an academic presentation but rather an important event that will take place at the Pista Central de la Rural, an iconic place.

A space like no other at the Book Fair: due to the way it will be set up, there will be room for just over 6,000 people, of which 4,000 will be standing in the arena where horses usually parade and where recitals are also held.

They estimate that there can be room for about 1,200 more people in each of the stands. It is not a common presentation – 1,000 people enter the largest room of the Fair – nor is it a common author, so the event requires special organization.
