A few months after turning 78 years old, Sylvester Stallone He is preparing for one of the most ambitious projects of his career. According to the American media Page Six, the book will be titled The steps, alluding to the recognizable stairs of the Philadelphia Museum of Art, where Rocky completed his training. The result will be on sale in the United States during the spring of 2025, through the Harper Collins label (which won the rights after an intense fight with other publishers).

The steps will provide a look at some of the most surprising moments and anecdotes surrounding the figure of Stallone, and his life with the biggest names in Hollywood. On the other hand, and according to the preview, the text will also transmit “very valuable knowledge and wisdom that will echo and inspire future generations.”

A few hours after the announcement, the launch arouses great expectations among the actor’s fans, as well as the public who wants to delve deeper into the life of one of Hollywood’s greatest idols, from the seventies to the present.

And according to a statement from the publisher, in The steps, “Sylvester will go deeper and for the first time, offer readers an intimate look along his journey. Since the launch of Rocky in 1976, an extraordinary romance has developed between this actor and the world, a unique bond that has lasted over the past five decades, and which evidences Sly’s remarkable ability to encourage and motivate.

The steps referred to in the book’s title became a true cinematographic symbol, and a statue was erected in that building in honor of the fictional boxer. This tribute is so important that in 2006, the mayor of the place assured that those stairs were one of the greatest tourist attractions in Philadelphia.
