Boltaña successfully closes the XIV Book Fair with “new views” on the Pyrenees

Boltaña this weekend successfully closed the XIV Pyrenean Book Fair of the Sobrarbe and Aure Valleys. The participating booksellers who set up their stands in the Plaza Mayor will be “very satisfied” not only because of the volume of sales but also for the possibility of being able to share time with their regular customers and with other new ones who came to see the editorial news.

The epicenter of the fair was House of Culture of Boltaña, where they followed one another until 16 presentations of works of various genres. The organization, led by the City Council, appreciates the involvement of the volunteers from the participating bookstores –Boletania Bookstore in Boltaña and Le vagabond immobile in Arreu (France)-, from the publishers –Headless, Rasmia, Prames-, of those authors who self-finance their works such as Chabier Lozano or the young Celia Lorán and Claudia Yuptónand all the authors who wanted to make their work known in this edition.

The fair, which is held alternately in Boltaña (in even years) and in Saint Lary (in odd years), revolved in this edition around the “new views” on the Pyrenees, placing emphasis on the opportunities it offers for living. In a round table they were able to learn about projects that have allowed very different people to establish themselves. It was moderated by the local journalist Sara Sarrablo and participated Sarahby Morillo de Sampietro, Sabinathe new museum technician from Sobrarbe and neighbor of Margudgued, and Alain Poulonowner of the Le Vagabond Immbile Bookstore in Arreu.

Furthermore, there was a poetic recital enlivened by Versonoros and which dazzled the public in the Altasi Eras. You could also hear Sandra Araguás with his stories next to the Ronda Monument and views of Nabain.

Boltaña is already immersed in the preparations for Pirenostrum 2024 after the “perfect prelude” to the Sobrarbe and Aure Valleys Book Fair, which has had the support of the Sobrarbe Region and is part of the Poctefa Dusal + Program.
