In the midst of the movements of the Colombian economy, the Financial Superintendence of Colombia (SFC) issued an alert for the misuse of its name to carry out a scam.

What is the scam they do in the name of Superfinanciera like?

The entity warned the public from its website about the unauthorized use of the logo of this inspection, surveillance and control body, as well as the impersonation of the Financial Superintendent, César Ferrari, through the illegal use of his name to deceive those seeking an alleged credit.

The image released by the Superfinanciera indicated that his name and that of his director are used irregularly in a false authorization for the alleged disbursement of a loan to an individual by a firm that identifies itself as ‘Comnusa Financing Entity’.

“The Financial Superintendency informed the Attorney General’s Office of this situation,” he indicated about the measures, while making some clarifications.
