Wall Street opened Thursday’s session higher and the S&P 500 reached new all-time highs. The New York stock market was boosted by the profits of the technology company Nvidia, which last Tuesday reached 3.34 billion dollars in capitalization and became the most valuable company on the market.

The market gains, after the closure of Wall Street due to yesterday being a federal holiday, are largely due to the momentum of Nvidia, which rose 3% in the early stages of the stock market. So far this year, the chipmaker’s shares have soared 174%.
By sector, the gains in energy (0.79%) and public services (0.6%) and the losses in real estate (-0.46%) and health (-0.36%) stood out.
Among the 30 stocks of the Dow Jones they led the advances Salesforce (2.34%) and IBM (1.37%), while the greatest losses were for Dow (-1.68%) and Boeing (-1.26%).
