Tiziano Gravier, Valeria Mazza’s son, revealed the consequences of the beating he suffered a few years ago

Tiziano Gravier, son of the renowned model Valeria Mazza and businessman Alejandro Gravier, has managed to overcome one of the most difficult moments of his life to achieve a successful present in the world of alpine skiing. At 22 years old, the young skier recently became the 2024 South American Champion and was positioned 34th in the world ranking, a notable achievement that comes after facing a traumatic episode that marked a before and after in his life.

Tiziano’s name resonated in the media again in 2022, when he suffered a violent attack outside a bowling alley in Rosario. In that incident, a group of young people brutally attacked him, fracturing his jaw and leaving him with physical and emotional scars. The event, completely unexpected and difficult for the Gravier family to understand, altered the course of Tiziano, who had to interrupt his sports career at that time. “It was something we talked about a lot at home at the time. It wasn’t a situation I chose to be in, it was something that happened. We can’t always control what happens to us. We are lucky in many things,” Tiziano reflected.

Tiziano Gravier spoke about how he recovered from the severe beating he received

The road to recovery was not easy for Tiziano, who had to undergo intensive treatment to rehabilitate his jaw. “I went to the kinesiologist to be able to open my mouth for two months. Returning to sport helped me a lot, I wanted to be able to compete as soon as possible and represent the country. That was my North. I was able to turn the page,” confessed the young skier, who found in sport the necessary drive to leave that episode behind.

The attack also cost Tiziano to cancel a trip to Europe where he was going to represent in a ski competition, a decision that meant a hard emotional blow for him, since he dedicated his life to this sport since he was little. “I’ve always lived for skiing, and not being able to compete at that time was very sad,” he recalled. However, Tiziano’s resilience led him to focus on his recovery and return stronger than ever, managing to resume his sporting activity in an outstanding manner.

Tiziano was sincere: “I am a little more cautious with some things. “Before, I didn’t realize the danger that there could be.” However, he assured that he has left that chapter behind and that he feels renewed to face new challenges.

The skier, who began competing internationally at the age of 12, has shown great dedication and love for alpine skiing, a sport he has practiced since he was three years old. His consecration as 2024 South American Champion is a testament to his effort and perseverance, and positions him as one of the great promises of Argentine sport on the world ski circuit.
