The big day of the Netherlands is approaching, King’s Day, known as
Koningsdag in Dutch. It is the national day of the Netherlands and always coincides with King William’s birthday. A festival in which all citizens take to the streets, dressed in orange, to celebrate this day, where there is no shortage of music, food and drink stalls and parties.
A
very important quote on the official agenda of the Dutch royal house that every year they visit the streets of a city to celebrate the monarch’s birthday. A very special day that not only leaves us with great anecdotes, but also offers us great outfits. Máxima of Holland never fails, the queen, with the most original style of all of her, always brings out her best clothes, leaving us with looks that remain to remember her.
The Argentinian style is one of our favorites. A lover of maximalism, she always opts for bright colors, prints and original headdresses, all without losing elegance. Accustomed to the always correct (sometimes boring) outfits of the other royals, Máxima’s looks in

Maxima of Holland on King’s Day 2017/GTRES
In 2017, Máxima premiered a creation by one of her leading designers,
Jan Taminiau. A design that became one of his favorites and that was later worn again on several occasions. It is an original dress in ocher and blue tones, with a cape-coat of the same colors with an original and stylish gradient.
She accompanied the outfit with suede pointed pumps, a discreet headdress made up of two blue flowers that were placed on both sides of the hair, and matching jewelry.

Máxima from Holland wore, in 2018, a set of
Nathan in red that included a beret, coat, bag, gloves and shoes, all in the same shade. There was also a nude dress with red appliqués.

total look perfect for the occasion and one of our favorite outfits: it is elegant, different and perfect for the occasion. An outfit that we would perfectly wear if we had an important event.
The Dutch royal family on King’s Day 2019/GTRES
In 2019, the last King’s Day took place in the streets before the coronavirus pandemic hit. A day that the members of the House of Orange enjoyed very much and that left us, once again, with great stylistic bets.
For this year, Máxima abandoned the dress and opted for a two-piece suit in a linen-like fabric, consisting of a round-neck T-shirt with slightly puffed French sleeves, and straight-cut pants. The color chosen was an earthy beige, where maxi flowers embroidered at the top in orange stood out, characteristic of her crown.
Once again Máxima opted for matching gloves, an orange clutch bag and a tilted hat-style headdress that looked great on her.

The following year the Dutch royal family had to celebrate King William’s birthday at home due to the pandemic. Even so, they gave us a fun family pose at the gates of the
Huis ten Bosch palace.
For this occasion, the queen of the Netherlands chose an original jumpsuit with French sleeves and palazzo pants from the brand.
Seren. With an original floral print in pink and purple tones, she accompanied the model with a white belt with raffia detail, and burgundy platform sandals.
Maxima of Holland on King’s Day 2021/GTRES
The city of Eindhoven was chosen to celebrate King’s Day in 2021. Máxima of Holland stood out with a greenish blue and orange outfit from
Nathan, one of her favorite designers, and a turban made with the same fabric. The set consisting of a blouse and skirt, very flattering, has puffed sleeves and gathers in the waist area, from which a very original kind of bow stands out.

In 2022, Máxima once again demonstrated that she is the queen of versatility. She wore a stunning fuchsia pink dress.

The bracelet she wears on her right hand stands out, as it is a rose quartz necklace that belonged to Queen Juliana, her husband’s grandmother, and which she received shortly before Christmas 1937.

Finally, in 2023 Máxima stayed true to her style with a colorful two-piece set from Natan. She wore a very bright green outfit that she combined with matching headdress.
Fabienne Delvigne, and sandals with asymmetrical details also from Natan. She complemented it with a white braided bag from the brand.
