The actress Johanna Bahamón, has become one of the most beloved celebrities in Colombia, not only for her talent in front of the screens, to this is added her activism work, which led her to consolidate the Fundación Acción Interna, in 2012, which seeks to dignify and give second chances to people who have been incarcerated. During this journey, Bahamón began the process of adopting his third daughter, a girl who was fathered by one of the women benefited by his organization; The woman from Cali revealed what that first contact with the little girl was like.
Before the arrival of her third ‘offspring’, Johana had already had the joy of becoming a mother on two occasions, minor products of her two relationships, the first with the singer Cabas, a link from which Simón was born; and the second with her current partner, Juan Manuel Salazar, with whom he brought Mía into the world. In an interview with the Tropicana station, the businesswoman also revealed unpublished details of Evelyn’s adoption process, and revealed the process that the girl’s unborn mother has gone through:
“In Colombian prisons, women deprived of liberty can be with their children, up to three years old. At that age they go with a guardian or a family member, and if neither figure is there, they go with Family Welfare. (…) Five years ago I met a baby with whom I had a special connection. We were entering the courtyard of Justice and Peace, of the Good Shepherd. (…) There was a baby and they passed her to me by chance and there I met her, I had an impressive connection with Evelyn”said Bahamón.
“At that time she was three months old and she is my daughter, now she is five years old. I started out as her guardian, then they gave me temporary custody, then permanent custody. Evelyn will forever have two mothers, ‘Clari’, the mother has already been released and she is rebuilding her life in a wonderful way, she is working and is making up for the time she lost with her other daughter. (…) They are now part of my family” he added.
