The Venezuelan Carlos Baute announced through tears that after 30 years of artistic career it is time to retire. He wants to spend more time with his family.
“It’s my farewell, I’m leaving. There are many singers who make me angry when they say it, but in my case it is real. I have been there for more than 30 years, but as a soloist for 30, I had not said it, because I have a concert in Spain on June 5, but I am retiring,” said the Venezuelan, in an interview on the Spanish podcast “Kapra Diner.”
Baute confessed that it has been a difficult decision, however the need to spend more time with his family led him to take the leap into retirement.
At the end, Kapra gave the Creole a hug to appease his tears, El Regional del Zulia reported.
The Creole began his musical career around the year 90, and has developed throughout this time between Venezuela and Spain.
