The veteran American actor, Robert de Nirounintentionally starred in a viral fake news that went around the world this Wednesday. A video was maliciously linked to the Israeli-Palestinian conflictwhen in reality it had nothing to do with it.

And it turns out that “it was a movie”… or at least a series. It was the recording of a new production of Netflix: Zero Daystarring precisely Robert De Niro.
“This was a rehearsal for a scene from a series of Netflix which was filmed on Saturday, April 27,” the streaming company confirmed to the AP agency.
The actress Mozhan Marnowho is also part of the cast of the production and was on site, complained through X to a journalist who had published the false information.
