A Spanish court on Thursday dismissed a tax investigation against the Colombian pop star Shakiraafter the prosecutor’s and state’s attorney’s offices opted to not press charges against the singer.

The court in the northeastern town of Esplugues de Llobregat, near Barcelona, ​​said there was no evidence to prove a claim raised by a prosecutor that Shakira “consciously and voluntarily omitted information and documentation” in preparing your 2018 personal income and wealth tax returns.
