Belén Soto announces her permanent move to Mexico City – Publimetro Chile

The national actress Belén Soto has announced his decision to leave Chile and settle in Mexico City. Since a time ago, the actress had been expanding her career internationally, and in 2023, she was the subject of criticism on social media for speaking with a Mexican accent during an interview about the launch of her book “Mujer Power” abroad. At the time, she explained that the accent was a requirement of her job in Mexico, a country to which she has now permanently moved.

For this reason, through her Instagram account, Belén Soto shared with her followers a glimpse of her new apartment in Mexico City. “And they say that changes are always good, and today a new stage in my life begins. Welcome to my first home in CDMX”, he wrote in the description of the post. Congratulations and concerns for security in Mexico

Television host Millaray Viera, who lived in Mexico for seven years with her then-husband, Álvaro López, lead singer of Los Bunkers, congratulated Soto on her move. “Congratulations! Better city or best city? Can I visit you?”, Viera commented, to which Soto responded: “I wait for you, I love you.”

The exchange raised questions among Soto’s followers, who recalled that Millaray and López were victims of a kidnapping in 2010. “Is it really a good city to live in? “I thought they didn’t think that way after the almost kidnapping…” asked a follower. Millaray responded: “Wow, that doesn’t define a city, I lived there for 7 years and for me the DF is much more than that. It is a wonderful city!”.

With this change, Belén Soto begins a new stage in her life and career, prepared to face new challenges and opportunities in vibrant Mexico City.
