-How are you preparing for this challenge?

-Very happy, we are recording some programs and they turn out great. The format is perfect and the production company casts families ideally. I am happy because the product comes out perfect.

-Are there any nerves before the premiere or the recordings?

-When I recorded the first program I told the producers that I would have to be nervous, but it’s not happening to me for several reasons. First because I have been working in the industry for 31 years.. Second because I am in a studio where I made This is the show For 10 years, I have known the technicians, the cameramen, the microphone operator. So on this channel I feel at home and it is not a phrase made to look good, because the truth is that it makes me feel very good and very happy.

-How was it receiving the proposal? Did you have any doubts or was it a resounding yes?

-No, there was no doubt. First they contacted me to ask if I wanted to do it and I said yes. I had to wait because it was the budget stage. After a month, a month or so, they told me that everything was fine and here we are.

-What is the public going to encounter?

-They are going to have fun, it is a proven format all over the world. They’ve already seen it with Monchi Balestra and Darío Barassi, so I’m sure they’ll watch it with me because it’s hilarious.

-You have several years of experience in television, whether in programs with Marcelo Tinelli or those you hosted on your own. Is there any cabal that you repeat before going on air or recording?

-Not because cabals are made to be broken. If, when you want to see your favorite soccer team become champion, you sit in the same place and wear the same shirt, you would have to become champion every year, and that doesn’t happen. That’s why the cabals must be changed. I’ve had some when I was This is the showand that I have broken them when things went badly for us.

-With so much experience in TV, do you still have that fear of failure or do you always aim for success?

-When you do a program you always want it to do well. Then there are a lot of factors that make the opposite happen or not. But to achieve that you work. In fact, you enter the studio and everything is perfect, the scenery is great, the lighting, the software so that everything goes well, the technicians, the families… Then there are variables whether the audience chooses or not, but nothing has to do with it. do with the quality of the product, which in our case is perfect and it’s going to turn out great on a channel like the thirteen.

-What still keeps your passion for TV alive?

-I love it, it’s like it explains why I like dulce de leche. I don’t know, because it’s sweet. It makes me very happy, I enter a television studio and I feel like a fish in water.

José María Listorti and his humor that transcends generations

The comedian played Harry Wormwood in Matilda, the musical at the Gran Rex Theater. This experience helped him to be the protagonist of how his “catch-ups” transcend generations and reach the little ones. Furthermore, in his dialogue with TNreflected on the ways of making humor today.

-With what word would you define current humor?

Fearfully. We comedians are scared by the cancellation. Not me anymore, luckily. But I see that many do and in fact there is no humor on TV, because there is a lack of budget and fear of cancellation.

-What does it make you see a child laugh at your jokes, and at the same time generate the same thing in an adult?

-It’s beautiful, it seems to me that it has a lot to do with social networks. The pandemic made many eight, nine or ten year olds look for us with their parents on YouTube. Me It surprises me when a kid of that age tells me my catchphrases. It happened to me with Matilda when I met the kids from the cast and they said to me “it’s magical” or they waved their arm at me. Later the parents told me that they watched the videos together of both me and my classmates. videomatch.

-What do you think of the new ways of doing humor?

-It is good that we have to change ourselves, we have to evolve as people and as comedians. I think the change also happened in journalism, there are issues that are addressed in a different way. We have to find balance to not go the other way and it seems to me that we are finding it. Before we were laughing at everything and now we laugh at nothing? No, we have to find balance so that we continue laughing and making humor without offendingbut not without doing anything.

-Yayo Guridi or Pachu Peña are on streaming programs, would you like to do humor in that format?

-Yes, but I don’t have more time. Do 100 Argentines say I record it in the morning, in the afternoon radio on Pop and on the weekends I go on tour with Pachu and with Sebastián Almada who do the show Tertawa. We did very well, we went to Paraguay, Uruguay, to the interior of the country and starting in August we will be in Paseo la Plaza. I had proposals from one of the leaders and I loved it, but I don’t have time. To stream, my day would have to last 37 hoursbut without a doubt at some point I will do it.
