Florencia Pena, an actress and comedian with extensive experience on the Argentine small screen, was the special guest who accompanied Héctor Maugeri, host of the interview segment. From Monday to Friday, at 8:00 p.m., through CARAS TV and Net TV you can view the program that seeks to honor the personalities of our show.

The renowned artist confessed that at birth she had the frontal bones of her head open, a reason that led her to drip cerebrospinal fluid and later the appearance of a cyst that did not allow them to close. All because her mother, at the time of delivery, had preeclampsia (high blood pressure) that made it impossible for her to be born and led to a cesarean section.

The medical explanation was that the drops falling down her forehead were perspiration, but her mother listened to her instinct and decided to visit various doctors. In this context, she was diagnosed with a cyst for which she quickly had to undergo surgery and which today leaves her with a scar, about which she has no insecurity whatsoever.
Likewise, there was also a Florencia who was a child and lived a childhood in which she could enjoy beginning to explore what is today her profession. She “she was a very playful girl. There is something about Felipe, my youngest son, that identifies me and that is very powerful,” she began by saying about it.

At this point in his life, complications would not be left behind and would reappear. “I was very sick when I was little, I was on the verge of dying and they injected me with penicillin every day,” she said about an illness that she had to suffer.

She is known for being a fighter and fighting against different aspects of life. This would not be the exception and like everything it has a reward. In this sense, her mother promised her, she kept it and she remembered it: “My mother after that told me that when I recovered from everything we would do a photo session.”

“I’m a survivor. I had been diagnosed with something else and my mom realized that wasn’t it. I was in bed for many months. There I began to show the need to be extroverted, the way I behaved was very theatrical,” Florencia concluded in reference to her recovery process.
