As reported by the Vatican Press Office, It is about highlighting “the significant impact that the art of comedy has in the world of contemporary culture.”“, ensuring that through “humorous talent and the unifying value of laughter, unique reflections on the human condition and the historical situation are offered today.” Comedy can “contribute to a more empathetic and supportive world,” also underlining the Vatican.
