Since its launch in early 2023, Olga has established itself as one of the most popular streaming channels in Argentina. This innovative project is the work of Luis and Bernarda Cella, children of Susana Giménez’s historic producer, Luis Cella, and Migue Granados, the channel’s star. With a fresh approach and varied content, Olga has captured the attention of thousands of viewers, becoming a digital communication phenomenon.

Bernarda Cella, with a career forged since her youth in the field of production and communication, has been the creative mind behind Olga. She studied at the ORT school with a specialization in media and later completed her training at TEA and the UCA, where she graduated in Communication with a specialization in digital communication. Later, she completed a postgraduate degree in digital journalism at the Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona.

Bernarda began her professional career making photocopies at Radio Nacional, and later joined the Telefe team, where she worked on programs such as “A la Barbarossa” and “Susana Giménez.” With this solid training and experience, Bernarda and her brother Luis decided to undertake a new challenge: create a streaming channel that offered something different from what already existed on the market.

“When we started to put it together, a lot of people were calling us to set up channels in other media. I saw that they thought it was something easy, to put together four streamers or tiktokers at a table and that’s it. Until one day I told my brother “That we had to see another movie. That there were many people ‘orphaned’ of other types of content,” Bernarda told Forbes in an interview and added: “We have columnists on politics, economics, science, philosophers, actresses and artists and we talked. of all topics. But we also do burping contests. Olga brings together the mixture of those two things.”

One of the channel’s greatest achievements has been having renowned guests such as Susana Giménez, Ricardo Darín and even Lionel Messi, who was interviewed at his home in Miami. These types of interviews, along with the variety of topics and the informal style of the programs, have been key to the channel’s success.

The story behind the creation of Olga was not without difficulties. Bernarda recalled in an interview that convincing Migue Granados to join the project was not easy: “He only came because we invited him to his favorite restaurant to eat ceviche, otherwise he wouldn’t listen to us. There we were able to start convincing him, that took a while.” Additionally, they faced significant logistical challenges, such as the theft of all their cameras and technical equipment ten days before going on air. Despite these obstacles, Olga’s team managed to overcome the difficulties and launch the channel successfully.
