“She tells me ‘and what are you doing?’, my hairdresser walks by and says ‘don’t you know her?'” Carolina Soto said in the last chapter of La Divina Comida, where she recounted how she met and fell in love with her current husband, winemaker Antonio Vásquez, whom she married in January 2022:
Paulina Vodanovic: “How was love with Antonio born?”
Carolina Soto: “My best friend was his classmate. I came from a very important love breakup, and I came to give a concert in Chile, which was precisely with Jimena (Pereyra) and Mon (Laferte).
“My friend also sings with me, she does the choirs. She invited Toño to the concert. Then Toño comes backstage and says ‘hello’ to me, and my friend says ‘I’m going to the bathroom’. And me with Toño like ‘well…’. And Toño tells me ‘and what are you doing?’, my hairdresser passes by and says ‘don’t you know her?’”
Vodanovic: “I mean, this kid didn’t see Red. It is clear”
Soto: “This goat was in the field, according to him. We met, we went to a bar that day my whole team, my friend told me ‘invite Toño’, that’s it, it was Toño. But I said ‘get a boyfriend in Chile and I’ll go to Mexico’, it was like ‘oh, how stupid’. I kiss her. Bye bye.
