Marc Anthony premieres ‘Ale Ale’ at the Latin AMAs 2024

Marc Anthony presented the world premiere of his new single “Ale Ale” at the Latin American Music Awards 2024, before the release of his long-awaited album. And with the chorus “ale, ale, ale”, it already sounds like a summer anthem!

Without a doubt, the New Yorker of Puerto Rican origin demonstrated once again that he is the king of modern salsa, and one of the best vocalists of the night so far (no disrespect to anyone).

Dressed all in black, with an elegant long-sleeved shirt adorned with leather straps and his trademark sunglasses, the salsa star and Latin music icon looked like a rocker, and basked in the glory of the roaring fans invigorated with the festive rhythm of the new song.

Meanwhile, the audience waved flags from different countries in celebration of Latin unity and pride.

The 2024 Latin American Music Awards took place on Thursday, April 25 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas and aired live on Univision. Hitmakers Feid and Peso Pluma led the nominations list this year with 12 mentions each, including in the coveted artist of the year and album of the year categories. They were closely followed by Bad Bunny (11), Grupo Frontera (11), Karol G (9), Shakira (9), Eslabon Armado (8) and Fuerza Regida (8).

Thalia, Becky G, Alejandra Espinoza and Carlos Ponce hosted the ceremony in a combination of English and Spanish, marking the first time that any type of major awards show in the United States included a bilingual broadcast.
