Just a few days ago a new member joined the house of Big Brother (Telefe): the dog Arthur.

The mixed-race greyhound was rescued after suffering a lot of abuse and, after going through a series of care and analysis, finally He managed to enter the reality show to accompany the ‘little brothers’ who, for a long time, have been asking for an animal companion to enter.

“He is a rescued dog and he is going to be the new member of the house. The house will serve as a home of refuge, of transit. If none of the boys want to keep it, anyone can have it, or I’ll keep it,” explained Santiago del Moro a few minutes before Arturo walked through the door of the house.

Later, it was Big Brother himself who added more data and detailed: “Arturo is a greyhound mix dog, just over a year old. From a very young age he was mistreated by his owners, who made him participate in clandestine races and used him for hunting. One day they decided to abandon him and a week ago he was found in a field in the city of Bragado.”

Clarion talked with Gustavo González Marínthe veterinarian who works alongside Telefe and who has had an animal inn called The Palms (@laspalmashosterianimal on Instagram).

The link between Gustavo and Telefe began many years ago, specifically in 1999 when Cris Morena asked him to be the veterinarian of Little ones which, during its fifth season, took place on a farm.

But, of course, it didn’t stop there. When he finished the strip, Gustavo was left with the cow called Daisy flower who was the one who, some time later, in 2001, appeared on television again because he was none other than the famous “Margarita the cow” from the first edition of Big Brother Argentina.

Since that moment, Gustavo has been in permanent contact with the ball channel and various fictions. In fact, Pochoone of her dogs, was part of the cast of History of a clan.

Furthermore, in the latest edition of Big Brother He was the one who took care of Morita and Caramelo, the little dogs that entered the house and who today live with Marcos Ginocchio and Romina Uhrig respectively.

About Arturo, Gustavo said: “Arturo was picked up by an animal shelter. They called me from Telefe production to give a hand in what it was like clinical review of him and ensure that he is in a condition to enter the house with the purpose of promoting the adoption of animals by the general population.”

“Then I received it. Poor, I was quite complicated, very afraid, fearful, hurt and well, when they arrive like this, the first thing is to see what their behavior is like, try to get them to trust us and from there, little by little, study their behavior and their health to see what needs, how it is, what it requires to be well,” he added.

Arthur He spent about 25 days in Gustavo’s care, little by little he improved and even made a friend: a little dog named Lennon.

He is a greyhound mix, just over a year old. He was mistreated by his owners, who made him participate in clandestine races and abandoned him.

“It is a dog that had not been treated well, like there are so many in life who have a bad time, who are on the street. He was apparently going to end up destined for the animal race. “Due to his physical condition, that he was very injured and because of his fear, I estimate that he was not having a good time,” the veterinarian admitted.

And he added: “And the truth is that it was amazing because he he recovered impressively and ends up arriving at the house Big Brother in a way that really surprised me. He showed me how little by little he was gaining confidence, we began to rule it out, to discover certain problems, to heal it and finally we reached a good conclusion.”

Of course, Marín was aware of Arturo’s entry into the program. In fact, he was the one who took him home.

The participants of the reality show will serve as a transit home for a one and a half year old dog that was a victim of animal abuse.

“I kissed him with love… And I told him: ‘Well, good luck, Arturo, we’ll see each other.’ Because I am going to see him again, because I have to do check-ups and so on,” he detailed about the farewell.

The interviewee also referred to those first minutes of the dog in the most famous house and indicated that he found that first contact with the participants very important and highlighted that Everything happened gradually and was not overwhelming.

“The truth is that Arturo adapted well. He was afraid, at first he hid behind a wall or whatever, but then he immediately found a reference, I don’t know if it’s enough to talk about a master, but a reference, someone who for the dogs represents someone who generates trust in them. . And that lighthouse, in this case, was Chino, who initially gave him a hand so that he could have a reference relationship in life,” he explained.

About the special bond that Arturo and Martin Kuthe interviewee explained that dogs “have a tendency to approach people with an energy that suits them.”

The new member of the house has already chosen his favorite.

“If you are in solidarity with an animal that is in a situation that does not understand much of what is happening and that symbiosis is generated between the animal and you, these links remain,” he said.

In allusion to some attitudes that the animal has had with respect to other ‘little brothers’, such as the case of Darío, who was thrown a tarascón when he tried to give him a mime on the head, the animal specialist specified that Arturo He is a “watchdog”but he clarified that there is no danger.

“If he suddenly realized that the situation did not suit him very much, that it was kind of strange and he noticed that there was a threat towards the person to whom he was attached, well, he can bark, he can growl. “He can do it for a matter like any dog would do,” he said.

And he quickly added: “I I think there is no risk. I think it will be a matter of seeing how those situations are handled, which is an issue that has already been discussed with production to address these issues.

“He’s a good dog. Otherwise, he wouldn’t be there,” he said.
