90,000 euros raised to help children in vulnerable situations

Espacio Fundación Telefónica has hosted the delivery of the XIII Inocente Awards and the money raised by the Inocente, Inocente Foundation at its 2023 gala to 16 entities that work to improve the lives of boys and girls in vulnerable situations.

The Innocent, Innocent Foundation delivered the XIII Inocente Awards in an event held at the Telefónica Foundation Space. A total of €90,000 raised at its 2023 gala and distributed among the 16 participating institutions that have exceeded 3,000 votes, with the aim of continuing their great work supporting children who suffer from an illness, physical or mental disability or are at risk of poverty or social exclusion in Spain.

Fundación Telefónica has been collaborating for 19 years through the participation of its Telefónica Volunteers as ‘solidarity teleoperators’.

Specifically, the Inocente Foundation has awarded Ana Brito supporting the Soñar Despierto Foundationawarded in the best video category and the prize awarded by the Jury has gone to Look at Ibarguren, sponsoring the Princess Rett Association. Furthermore, the Inocente Foundation wanted to recognize the great support of Carolina Casado to the entity during all these years, as presenter of the gala, with an honorary award.

The event was presented by Juanma Iturriaga and was attended by Miriam García Corrales, entertainment director of RTVE, and Luis Prendes, general director of Fundación Telefónica. The candidates who have obtained 3,000 votes on the website www.fundacioninocente.org have obtained €5,000 for the foundations and NGOs they have supported.

  • Flora González with Montilla Bono Association.
  • Verónica Mengod with Vianorte-Laguna Foundation.
  • Look at Ibarguren with the Princesa Rett Association.
  • Andrea Miguelez with Foundation Against Pulmonary Hypertension.
  • Sandra Cervera with Somos NUPA.
  • Javier Nieves with Nadiesolo Voluntariado.

The Inocente Foundation announced these awards for the thirteenth time to recognize the support of those famous people with social causes in favor of the most needy children and, through them, provide financial aid to various projects of these non-profit entities, once again thanking the Telefónica Foundation for its invaluable collaboration in sponsoring the Jury Prize.
