Who hasn’t experienced that, when cooking rice, we did not calculate the portion well and ended up preparing too much. Given this, and if you don’t know what to do with what is left over, we are going to recommend the recipe so you can prepare exquisite croquettes with cheese, ideal to enjoy with your family or friends using few ingredients.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of cooked rice
  • 1 cup of grated cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil
  • Bacon

Preparation:

  • In a large bowl, combine the cooked rice, grated cheese, beaten eggs and breadcrumbs. Season to taste.
  • Then form the balls of the size you want and place them in a frying pan with hot oil, over medium-high heat, until golden brown (2 to 3 minutes per side).
  • Remove the balls from the oil and place them on absorbent paper to remove excess fat.
  • Then, do the same with the bacon and decorate the balls with the bacon on top.
  • Serve them hot and accompany them with the sauces of your choice.
