The director added that the film “It will be very funny for those who like to be offended.”

Similarly, Bridges appeared in The Fisher King, also directed by Gilliam.

Johnny Depp had already collaborated with Terry Gilliam in the film “Fever and Madness in Las Vegas” and “The Imaginary World of Doctor Parnassus”

In May, Jeff Bridges gave an update on his health, three years after revealing his cancer diagnosis. After announcing his diagnosis in 2020, the actor reported the following year that he had gone into remission. Now, Bridges assures that his “health is excellent” and that he “doesn’t think too much about the past.”

At the same time, Johnny Depp criticized Hollywood last April after the industry closed all its doors to him for being involved in what was one of the most scandalous trials in modern history. The case that involved his ex-wife Amber Heard put both of their careers in the United States in check, and little by little, Johnny tries to return to the top with productions in Europe and now with a new collaboration with Terry Gilliam .

They are disposable and they realize it. Glorified accountants who have the ability to press the green light and make studio films… but press the green light, they spend tons of money. The budgets are ridiculous in these movies… a romantic comedy with two very popular people. “People, real people, are fed up,” the actor ranted in an interview with Meter.

There have been few actors who have had the privilege of playing both the devil and God in the movies. Regarding the king of darkness, figures of the stature of Robert De Niro, Jack Nicholson, Elizabeth Hurley, Al Pacino, Viggo Mortensen, Tim Curry and Peter Stormareare some of those chosen to give life to the incarnation of evil.

The ruler of the heavens has been an even more exclusive character, with Isaac Andrews, Whoopie Goldberg, Alanis Morissette, George Burns, John Huston, Charlton Heston and of course, Morgan Freemann like the actors who have played the Abrahamic God in the movies.
