‘Arriba Mi Gente’, morning program Latin led by Maju Mantilla, Fernando Díaz and Santi Lesmes, has garnered loyal followers since its entry into the air for a considerable time. However, the channel would be considering removing it from its programming, and replacing it with a new space with Brunella Horna.
This change in the television schedule, despite the popularity of the magazine, coincides with the announced entry of Gisela Valcárcel as a shareholder of the television network, which has generated expectations about a renewal in entertainment content.
According to the former reporter Christian Bayro, who spread the news through his TikTok account, the morning spot would be occupied by a project led by Richard Acuña’s wife.
The communicator revealed that this information comes from his conversations with members of the San Felipe Avenue channel, who indicated that ‘Señito’ is promoting new changes in programming, especially in the entertainment spaces led by the former Miss World.
“‘Arriba Mi Gente’ is not reaching more than two points rating, and for the budget it manages, it is insufficient,” Bayro explained in a video that he uploaded to his digital platforms.
“In its place, a new program hosted by Brunella Horna will enter. Gisela Valcárcel has a lot of confidence in this project,” she reaffirmed. The journalist also added that the former reality girl will be accompanied by other figures that have not yet been confirmed.
It is not Brunella Horna’s first attempt at morning television. Previously, she was part of ‘En Boca de Todos’, but moved to the competition on América TV under the company GV Producciones.
However, Bayro warns that ‘America Today’, of which the mother of the last son of the president of César Vallejo is a part, could dismantle in the coming monthsand its members would be absorbed by Latina.
“To compete with Ernesto Pimentel, the proposal according to my sources is that Ethel Pozo is in charge of ‘The Great Show’ with the support of ‘Giselo’,” added the young man.

The businesswoman began her career on said channel in 2009, after resigning from Panamericana TV. Since her arrival, she stood out as host of emblematic programs such as ‘El Show de los Sueños’, ‘El Gran Show’, ‘Queens of the Show’, ‘Reyes del Show’, among others.
These spaces became benchmarks of Peruvian entertainment during their years of broadcast. Its last format was ‘The Big Star’ in 2022, a competition where various unknown artists participated.
