Gustavo Adolfo Lorgia Vanegas, better known as the magician Lorgia, died at the age of 73 this Friday afternoon in a clinic in Bogotá.

With more than 55 years of career in the world of illusionism, Lorgia was active in his profession until a couple of weeks ago.

His daughter María Paula Lorgia was the one who announced to the media the death of her father, which occurred at the Reina Sofía Clinic, where he had been hospitalized for 20 days, after suffering from spinal shock.

Last month he was in Medellín, where he had planned a couple of shows, which he had to cancel after suffering an accident (a fall) that caused immobility in his hands.
