Elon Musk He quietly had one last child with an executive from one of his companies. Neuralink special projects director Shivon Zilis had another child with Musk earlier this year, according to a Bloomberg report published Friday.
He is his third child with Zilis. The billionaire quietly had twins with the Neuralink executive in 2021, according to court documents that showed Musk filed a petition to change the twins’ names to “have their father’s last name and contain their mother’s last name as part of their middle name.”
The twins with Zilis, a boy and a girl, are called Azure and Strider. No media has given the name of the billionaire’s last son.
It’s unclear how many children Musk has in total, but he has 11 living children that are public knowledge: five with his first wife, author Justine Wilson, three with singer Grimes and three with Zilis.
Musk co-founded Neuralink and serves as co-CEO of the company, which develops brain-computer technology. The news about another child with Zilis comes a couple of weeks after a Wall Street Journal report detailed Musk’s “boundary-blurring relationships” with female SpaceX employees.
According to the report, a former SpaceX employee accused Musk of asking her to have her babies on more than one occasion. She rejected the offer and later said she was denied a raise, according to the report.
He ultimately left the company and received an exit package valued at more than $1 million, the Journal reported.
Musk has spoken publicly about his views on the risks of declining birth rates since 2017 and has said he views the issue as the biggest threat to civilization. He has also said that he has encouraged his friends to have more children. (AND)
