The passion for music and the legacy of The Beatles will be experienced in the region with the presentation of a tribute band in which Tahiel Donofrio participates, who plays the electric guitar.
They will be performing at the Coronel Suárez Rural Expo on Friday, October 11 at 6 p.m., followed by a show on Saturday the 12th at the Gran Hotel in Sierra de la Ventana at 9 p.m., and will culminate on November 3 at the library Rivadavia de Bahía Blanca at 8 p.m.
Tahiel and his father Maximiliano provided details about his musical career and the exciting experience of playing live, at only 11 years old, songs that have marked generations.

About Tahiel’s integration into the band
“A year ago, a group from Tres Arroyos visited Tornquist, where he was invited to join, and he has been part of the band ever since. We have already made about ten tributes to The Beatles in the region.”
Tahiel Donofrio
The beginning of his musical passion
“I began to be interested in the guitar when I was 3 years old and when I was 5 I started playing the violin, although I stopped the following year. Then, when I was 9, I bought my first electric guitar. “After that came this Beatles tribute band, which gave me a great opportunity.”
Confirmation as official member
“Before the show that took place in Sierra de la Ventana, they invited me again. Then, at the third show, they told me I was an official member of the band. So far, as an official member, I have participated in only one show, I played in Coronel Dorrego.”
About the trials
“I rehearse a lot, especially when a show is approaching.”
Musical preferences
“I really like George Harrison’s songs. Before, I liked the songs more because of the voices, but now I care more about the guitar arrangements.”
Maximiliano Donofrio
Wish for a new show in Tornquist
“It would be very nice to organize another show in Tornquist. I don’t want them to be so frequent so that people maintain interest in attending, but another show is already brewing in the town.”
Difference in eras and the possibility of having these tribute bands today
“We have grown up without this possibility; We listened to them through vinyl records. Now, having the opportunity to see them live is very exciting for those of us who lived that experience. There are voices that are very similar.”
Maximiliano Donofrio concluded by saying: “It is very nice to walk this path and share it with people.”
