The Paraná Lee Book Fair, in its twelfth edition, was consolidated as a political space that favors the meeting between Books and readers, also highlighting the participation of independent authors and publishers
Once again, the fair was a success and the public supported the efforts of publishers and bookstores in the search to sustain jobs despite the economic crisis that the province and the country are going through.
For this reason, the organization was happy with the large number of people who enjoyed the fair and visited, in passing, the Paraná waterfront. For four days, both residents and visitors enjoyed more than 80 stands and activities, many of them aimed at schools and children. Likewise, author presentations, interviews and talks were held that were very well received. The event, organized by the Municipality of Paraná with the support of the provincial government, took place from Thursday, October 10 to Sunday, October 13 in the Sala Mayo.

One of the writers who visited Paraná to present his work was Juan José Becerra, who described the event as “extraordinary.” He highlighted that at fairs like this, connections are established with unknown people and books by new authors are discovered.
Along the same lines, the author and screenwriter Pablo De Santis commented that “the Fair is impressive, with publishers and bookstores from all over the country. The supply of books is abundant and the influx of public indicates great success. Sales have been very good.” The cartoonist Paola Gaviria, known as Power Paola, shared her experience at the literary event: “It was wonderful to see people interested in learning about my work. “I was excited because it is my first time in Paraná.”
