They carried out a cleaning and maintenance operation in Lomas de Tafí

Municipal workers carried out an extensive cleaning and maintenance operation in Lomas de Tafí. The activities had the support of the mayor Alejandra Rodriguez and of Manuel AuteriOperational Secretary of Lomas de Tafí.

Throughout the week, weeding, property cleaning, removal of green waste, and collection of bottles and papers that accumulate during the weekend in the green areas of Lomas de Tafí were carried out.

Activity schedule

  • Monday 21st: Cleaning and maintenance work was carried out in the squares of sectors 6 and 7, and in the diagonal cuts on the YPF bridge, including the cleaning of the platform cutters in the diagonal.
  • Wednesday 23rd: The teams worked on the road to Pacará (from collector up) and on the Cabo Quipildor collector (from cave S19 to Camino 14).
  • Thursday 24th: A work group focused on the plaza in sector 12 and the secondary school, while another group worked in the plaza in sector 15. Tasks were also carried out in the Green Space parallel to Miguel Lillo Park (Luis Borges Street) and in the square in sector XV. A tractor was cutting the grass on the property on Av. Jaldo and Av. Raya.
  • Friday the 25th: In the Lomas 600 sector, a mega operation was carried out in the garbage dump located on the SAT property. A large deployment of municipal personnel and machinery was carried out to carry out pruning tasks, public lighting, weeding, cleaning and collection of dry, wet and green waste. This joint effort sought to improve the environment and the safety of the neighbors.

Besides, On Vildoza Street, asphalt layer work was carried out up to the plaza in sector 12, where about 25 large potholes were filled.

These actions underline the commitment of the municipal administration to maintain and improve the quality of life of the residents of Lomas de Tafí, ensuring clean and safe public spaces for all.
