Agustín Romano Norri, radical legislator, highlighted the rector of the 2024 provincial Budget at more than $200,000 million.
The radical legislator, Agustín Romano Norrihighlighted the governor’s decision Osvaldo Jaldo to cut the provincial budget by about $220,000 million. Along these lines, he questioned the former governor Juan Manzur of using the provincial State as a political fund.
“Jaldo’s press conference laid bare Manzur’s way of doing politics. The indiscriminate appointment of personnel that helped him win elections but not to get the province out of the disaster it is in,” said Romano Norri.
“This demonstrated the waste of public money that Manzur made with the sole objective of guaranteeing eternity. This is the end of Manzurism,” he explained.
Romano Norri highlighted that “in Tucumán there are about 7,500 people appointed to Unrel, whose last salary was $240,000 and only a handful can demonstrate that they fulfill some function.”
“Ascriptions are also a mechanism for people to receive a salary from the state without any compensation. In principle we support these measures, which I hope do not remain just advertisements,” added the radical legislator,” he said.
The provincial government announced a cut in the structure of the State, which will include the elimination of around 40 government agencies. Furthermore, the suspension of trials for execution of the General Directorate of Revenue (DGR) against taxpayers and the termination of the Social Pact with the municipalities.
