LOGROÑO, Nov. 21. (EUROPA PRESS) –

He PSOE regional deputy José Ángel Lacalzada assured this Tuesday that the La Rioja Budget for 2024 “is worrying, because we see that industrial policy is not a priority for the Capellán Government.”

Lacalzada has also regretted that “the ADER budget decreases by 40%, which is detrimental to the instrument that should boost the economy.

The socialist deputy has said that, in addition, ““Within the Economic Development Agency, support for the productive fabric decreases, because aid to companies, SMEs and the self-employed falls by more than 13 million euros.”

Lacalzada has recalled that “within ADER, the Government has eliminated programs such as reindustrialization, agri-food industries, entrepreneurship, innovation, circular economy or energy efficiency.”

He has stated that The budget “does not contemplate the Plan for the self-employed announced by Capellán or the advanced Shock Plan for the productive fabric.”

According to Lacalzada, ““The budget lacks a lack of impetus for the industrial estates and the public park of industrial land, so we greatly fear that we are going to lose the opportunity to have a price of 35 euros per square meter.”

This, the socialist deputy added, ““It will hinder our competitiveness in terms of attracting companies and investments, as well as strengthening existing ones.”

Lacalzada finally recalled that the R&D&I budget “decreased by 7 million euros, which contrasts with the increase recorded in this chapter last term, when it grew by 40%.”

For its part, The general secretary of CCOO, Jorge Ruano, has assured that “we share analysis with the Socialist Party.”

Ruano has pointed out that “The growth of the budget is due to the economic and employment policies that the Government of Spain has applied.” He concluded by pointing out that “We must reinforce issues such as housing, health, education or employment, something that this budget does not do.”
