SUNDAY CAR ACCIDENT RECORDED
Zacatecas, Zac. Personnel from the State Coordination of Civil Protection responded to a call from the 911 Emergency System to provide assistance in a rear-end accident in an event that occurred on López Mateos Boulevard in the capital of Zacatecas. Two vehicles were involved in the accident; one Mazda, and another Volkswagen, which were driven by 20-year-old Edgar N, who was accompanied by 24-year-old Maribel N, in the first car, respectively. The second car was driven by Alberto “N”, who was traveling in the company of Priscila “N”, 12 years old, and Paulina “N”, 23 years old, who were taken to the General Hospital.
CALL FOR THE “TENAMAXTLE” STATE HUMAN RIGHTS AWARD 2023
Zacatecas, Zac. The Human Rights Commission of the State of Zacatecas (CDHEZ) invites civil society organizations, Professional Associations and citizens in general to participate in the “Tenamaxtle 2023” State Human Rights Award. Among the bases of the call are that interested parties must be born in Zacatecas, who have carried out activities related to the education, promotion, protection and defense of human rights. Likewise, the work must be directed to the Executive Secretariat of the human rights commission through an official letter. The award ceremony will be during the first 15 days of next December, which will consist of a scroll, a silver medal and 20 thousand pesos in cash.
CIVIL PROTECTION REGISTERS TREE FALL IN GUADALUPE
Guadalupe, Zac. Firefighters and rescuers from the State Civil Protection Coordination responded to a call for help after a tree fell in an incident that occurred on Jose López Portillo Boulevard near the Banamex Bank in Colonia La Florida in the municipality of Guadalupe. . Upon arriving at the scene, the tree was located barely supported by high-tension cables, a situation that led firefighters to carry out maneuvers using tools such as a chainsaw and axe.
CLOSING PEACHES STATEN, JAZZ & BLUES FESTIVAL 2023
Zacatecas, Zac. With a splendid concert, the blues, soul and funk performer, Peaches Staten, accompanied by the group Chicago Power Trio, successfully ended the activities of the Zacatecas 2023 International Jazz and Blues Festival. This Sunday, the stage of the Plazuela Miguel Auza was filled with jazz with the outstanding presentation of the group Arista Cinco, as the beginning of the formal closing of the 16th International Jazz Festival, which welcomed, in its two weekends, more than four thousand spectators in its forums.
