The District Municipality of Mazamari, located in the province of Satipo, Junín region, is carrying out training workshops aimed at local entrepreneurs. This initiative, managed by the Territorial Economic Development Management, aims to provide knowledge to the district’s producers.
In these workshops, entrepreneurs have had the opportunity to learn techniques related to coffee processing and the production of fruit nectars. In addition, a section dedicated to the preparation of cocoa paste has been included.

In the coffee and its derivatives processing workshop, participants learned how to make creams, filters and liqueurs. Throughout the course, the entrepreneurs shared their experiences and received guidance from specialists.
The Municipality has also carried out a course focused on new skills for the preparation of cocoa paste. During this training, participants were instructed on making chocolates and chocotejas using local grain.
Fruit training
Likewise, the municipal entity is holding a workshop called “Preparation of fruit nectars”, where those registered learn to make juices from local crops.
It is important to highlight that a new workshop will begin on November 21. In this, specialists will teach how to prepare liqueurs using fruits.
