24th International Chemistry Conference begins in Santiago de Cuba

These days, the Universidad de Oriente in Santiago welcomes Cuban experts and experts from more than 20 countries to exchange scientific experiences on different areas of knowledge about Chemistry.

On the first day of the 24th International Chemistry Conference, the Special Teaching Category of Guest Professor of the Universidad de Oriente was awarded to Professor Dr. C José Javier de La Serna Vázquez, an expert in analytical chemistry from the University of Málaga, Spain .

He was in charge of the inaugural conference where he addressed topics related to the “Mars 2020 Mission. Remains on the Red Planet.”

On this occasion the event is also dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the Chemistry Conference, the first of its kind in the national territory.

The 24th edition of the Chemistry Conference offers the possibility of sharing experiences between national and foreign specialists, in addition to the presentation of products and services from state and private companies.
