Córdoba established itself as a benchmark in viticulture, standing out for the quality and diversity of its wines in the Argentine and international markets. In context with the Week of Cordoba Wines (celebrated from November 1 to 9 in the city), “Córdoba Wine, The Fair” It is presented as the first exclusively Cordoban wine fair.
30 boutique wineries from the different regions of the province will participate: Valle de Calamuchita, Valle de Traslasierra, Valle de Punilla, Paravachasca, north and northwest of Córdoba, with the aim of publicizing their products and the notable work they have been doing, recently highlighted. by national and international experts.
The modality is a wine fair, the wineries will be located according to the Valley and the area and will have a stand attended by the same producers, winemakers or those responsible for the project, to promote direct communication with the public who will be able to learn first-hand about the particularities. of each winery, their processes, the characteristics of the vineyards and the wine tourism experiences they offer. “They will tell what the challenges have been, what is new, their strengths, the history behind each label and will offer tastings,” he tells InfoNegocio’s Laura Gissara, sommelier and organizer Córdoba Wine, La Feria. In addition, there will be a market space so attendees can buy wines.
According to the sommelier, Córdoba has different characteristics depending on the Valley and the terroir, the climate, the geographical environment and the soil and this affects the wines, which can be seen at the Fair.
“This event is very important because it is the first time that an event of this nature has been held with Córdoba wineries, who will be the hosts,” he adds. Laura.
The event is supported by Córdoba Wine Routes and the Córdoba Tourism Agency. The appointment will be on November 2 at Hotel Quinto Centenario from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Upon entering, you can rent a glass for the tasting with a value of $6,000, which will be refundable upon return.
In the Lugones room inside the Hotel, there will be stands that will offer products related to wine such as cheeses, chocolates to pair with, cold cuts, craft beers, cavas, and more.
Tickets are purchased through the platform Passline and have a value of $25,000.
The Fair is organized by Córdoba Wine Travel and Cordobesa Grocery Store and has the accompaniment of the ACórdoba Tourism Agency, Córdoba Wine Routes, Quinto Centenario Hotel, Córdoba Wine Week, Bonaqua, Crux Cavas and Gastronomic Circuit.
The wineries that will be part of the event are: Camps & Chavero, Nebula, Finca La Marta, Rosel Finca Familiar, Bodega Di Candi, Bodega Viarago, Patente Famiglia Furfaro, Pu Duam, Finca Atos, Alma Minera, Noble, Gavianna, Las Breas, Vista Grande, Slow Wines, Sierra y Monte, Achala, Araoz de Lamadrid, San Lorenzo, Estancia Las Cañitas.
“The idea is that the fair can be held every year and that it is the place where different producers can present their new vintages and innovations.
