Zacatecas, Zac.-Newmont Peñasquito Mining, In collaboration with ProjectCURE and Healing Mexico they delivered to the Zacatecana Women’s Hospital a donation of world-class medical supplies with a value equivalent to 2.7 millions of pesos.

For more than 20 years, Newmont and Project CURE have collaborated to deliver medical equipment and supplies in different parts of the world. In 2021, they began planning a joint donation, which today is a reality that will benefit thousands of Zacatecas patients.

The donated material includes an incubator, ultrasound equipment, maternal fetal monitor, intensive care bed and various supplies doctors. The transfer of the items was covered by Newmont and was carried out in a container from the United States to Zacatecastraveling more than 2 thousand kilometers.
