The meeting, which will take place in Santa Rosa on May 16 and 17, will also be part of the celebration of the 20 years of the Administrative Investigations Prosecutor’s Office. La Pampa had a particular role in the founding stage of the Forum, since in 2004, it hosted the preparatory meeting for its formation.

The place chosen for the development of the activities is the Hall of the Superior Council of the UNLPam (Gil 353 of Santa Rosa), where, starting at 9, the accreditation and subsequent start of the celebratory event of the 20 years of the FIA.

The opening will be carried out by the Governor of the province, Sergio Zilliotto, and the head of the Permanent Forum, Fabián Gatti (Prosecutor of Administrative Investigations of Río Negro) will participate; Sergio Rodríguez (head of the Office of the Attorney General for Administrative Investigations); Alejandro Melik (head of the Anti-Corruption Office) and Marcelo Varona Quintián (president of the Argentine Association of Prosecutors), in addition to the representatives of the organizations that make up the Forum, as well as Beatriz Anchorena (head of the Agency for Access to Public Information ).

About the Forum

The Forum of Administrative Investigation Prosecutors and Anti-Corruption Offices (“Forum”) was created in September 2005 in the City of Buenos Aires, after two previous meetings in the provinces of La Pampa and Río Negro.
It brings together Administrative Investigation Prosecutor’s Offices, Anti-Corruption Offices and those equivalent state bodies existing within the Argentine national territory.

The Forum shares the purposes of the Inter-American Convention against Corruption and the United Nations Convention against Corruption and, among its objectives, aims to contribute “to compliance with the provisions of the United Nations Convention against Corruption.”
