The construction project of the bridge over the Paraná Mini, connecting Villa Ocampo with Puerto Ocampo, continues to advance.

The commitment to the work has been reaffirmed by Governor Maximiliano Pullaro, who has pointed out its importance as a priority for the region, in a transversal connection, linking Puerto Ocampo (Villa Ocampo), with Toropí (Bella Vista) and Los Esteros del Iberá.

However, despite the setbacks that are emerging, significant progress has been made, with all the columns completed, and work is currently underway on the reinforcement of the final structure.

The construction project continues to move forward.

It is estimated that by the end of the year the bridge would be completed, meeting the expectations of the deadlines established for its completion.

Mayor Cristian Marega expressed: “As a complementary work, what is coming is once the construction of the bridge over the Paraná Miní is completed, the continuity will be to build another bridge, but now over “El Pindó, which is much smaller and which “It would take a lot less time.”

“The objective is ‘El Pindó’, because it can be done by extending the tender for the first bridge, which will guarantee us finishing it in a short time, and then the other two that are missing would come, even smaller, like the ‘Caré’ and ‘El Cinco’ to reach Puerto Ocampo,” Marega specified.

And he added: “We are working with Governor Pullaro, on all intentions for this project to join Puerto Ocampo with Bella Vista, the province of Corrientes. What’s more, we already have bidders from Balsas, who want to come and settle for the crossing. We have spoken with port operators interested in the possibility of joining this operational project on the banks of the Paraná River.

The Paraná Miní Bridge will have an extension of 308 meters and will be made up of 10 prestressed sections that will make up a road 8.30 meters wide and 1.55 meters wide on each side.
