Santiago de Cuba, April 27.- With the best of young musical talent and organized by the Hermanos Saíz Association (AHS), Santiago de Cuba hosts the eleventh edition of the Jazz Namá Festival until April 28.

King Luis Correa, vice president of the AHS in this southeastern territory, told the Cuban News Agency the reverence on this occasion to the heritage sites of the capital city, which are the pride of those born in the untamed land and of the thousands of foreigners who visit it annually.

Among the activities of the event, he commented on the concert dedicated to the members of the Universidad de Oriente, scheduled for tonight and starring the local group Ilaroye and the trio The Heat Transfer, from Matanzas.

He pointed out the usual prominence of the students of the Esteban Salas Conservatory of Music in the meeting, which has become an event for improvement and exchange between professionals and students, and, also, a space to enhance the links between artistic education and AHS.

He affirmed the exchange with the participants of Alberto Lescay, national winner of plastic arts and youth teacher, about the history of the Iris Jazz Club, the main venue of the event and the preferred place for exponents of the musical genre, in order to make their presentations.

The Balcón de Velázquez, Céspedes Park and the Elvira Cape Provincial Library are also locations for the development of the Jazz Namá agenda.
