The international guide Beach Atlas presented its ranking of the best beaches in the world and included in said list a well-known one from the province of Chubut inside of the “Golden Beach Award 2024”.
The list was created using artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms and a vote by tourism experts. As a result, the region’s tourism sector ranked 51stabove destinations like South Beach Miami, Varadero and Playa Grande.
The beach of El Doradillo was the only one in all of Argentina to appear in this ranking who led Bora Bora French Polynesia; Boulders Beach, in South Africa; and Waikiki, in USAto complete the podium.
Within the top 10 they also appear Copacabana, Maya Bay, Black Sand Beach, Glass, JBR, Skeleton Coast and Omaha.

El Doradillo is 15 kilometers from the city of Puerto Madryn and is one of the main attractions for tourists, both local and foreign, when whale watching in season. It is a protected natural area and was created in 2001.
