In the last few hours, a massacre was recorded in a home located in the 20 de Agosto neighborhood, in Corinto, Cauca. Four people were murdered, among them was the popular music singer, Sebastián Muñoz. In addition, a woman was injured.
The team that works with the popular music singer, through a statement, said that the artist, along with his stage presenter DJ ‘JJ Villegas’, had died in “confusing events”, which, until now, ” “They continue to be a matter of investigation” by the authorities.
According to the team, Muñoz was leaving Cali when “receives a call for a private presentation, where we do not know the facts and the event of this hitman attack or massacre. Everything remains in the hands of the authorities for investigation.”
The authorities indicated in preliminary reports that armed individuals entered the house where the victims were and then shot them. Investigative work also began to determine the identification of the other two people who were murdered.
According to Indepaz, so far in 2024, this is the 21st massacre. In this area of the country, according to reports from the authorities, FARC dissidents, Dagoberto Ramos structures and the 57th Front are present.
