The Municipality of San Salvador de Jujuy organized the first PlayStation tournament to play FIFA 2024. This competition aimed at teenagers and young people between 14 and 25 years old will begin on Saturday, May 4 from 9:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. in the CPV of the Chijra neighborhood. The winners will have various prizes and the organization informs that participants between 14 and 17 years old must obtain parental authorization. In the days prior to registration, the teams from the Human Development Secretariat in charge of the organization carried out a pilot test with students from a secondary school near the CPV in the Chijra neighborhood. It should be noted that May 4 will be the first of six dates that will be held in the other districts of the city, so that adolescents and young people from all neighborhoods can participate.
On this topic, the Secretary of Human Development, Rodrigo Altea, thanked the students and teachers of the Provincial Technical School No. 1 “Gral. Aristóbulo Vargas Belmonte” of 15 and 16 years old graciously agreed to do a pilot test, “through this tournament we seek to connect with the youth of the city to understand the actions they require of us; We already work on aspects such as: sports, cultural, related to health and mental health such as the psychology of happiness and different tools that allow personal self-determination such as vocational guidance.
Next, Altea stated that the Secretariat under his charge has great expectations for the challenge that lies ahead, “for the municipal team and for the teams that make political decisions, we believe that these actions generate places of meeting, dialogue and we comply with our job, which is to do what society asks of us.”

Finally, Alejandra Cruz, Deputy Director General of Decentralization, explained that, “the tournament is organized to take place in the 6 districts of the city of San Salvador de Jujuy and will begin on Saturday, May 4 from 9:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. in the Northern District in the facilities of the Chijra neighborhood CPV and minors between 14 and 17 years of age will require authorization from the father, mother or guardian.”
