In a joint operation between the Neiva Metropolitan Police and the canines of said institution, controls were carried out in the wooded areas of commune 1 of the city of Neiva.
The results were conclusive and revealed illegal activities related to drug trafficking.
During the operation, areas were identified where individuals concealed and prepared doses of drugs for distribution. Thanks to the skill and expertise of the police canines, an arsenal of illicit substances was detected, as well as a firearm, which represents a significant blow against drug trafficking in the region.

In total, approximately 1,800 grams were seized of marijuana, ready for dosage and subsequent sale, as well as 30 cigarettes ready to be sold on the illegal market.

The action of the National Police contributes to maintaining the security and tranquility of the community, strengthening the fight against organized crime and promoting a safer environment for all citizens.
