““MONICA SEPÚLVEDA CERQUERA”with its humility and unwavering dedication, has become a beacon of light in the midst of adversity, guiding future generations towards a path of values and integral development.
From an early age, Mónica has understood the importance of education in the formation of upright individuals committed to their community. With a clear vision and a heart full of passion, she has undertaken a series of initiatives to provide children, youth, adults and seniors in her sector with the necessary tools to reach their full potential.
One of the cornerstones of its work is the promotion of civic activities that encourage citizen participation and social commitment. Mónica firmly believes that the construction of a just and equitable society begins from the base, and therefore, she organizes meetings, talks and workshops where children, young people, adults and grandparents can learn about their rights and duties as active citizens.
But their work goes beyond mere civic instruction. Monica strives to instill in the hearts of children and young people the fundamental values that support a prosperous and caring society. Honesty, transparency, respect, responsibility, justice and integrity are the pillars on which she builds her daily work. Through playful dynamics, practical examples and enriching experiences, Mónica shows young people that these values are not simply words, but commitments that transform lives and communities. Her work has not gone unnoticed in the community. Mónica Sepúlveda has become an undisputed reference, admired and respected for her tireless work for the well-being of children, young people, veterans of Commune 8, especially the population of the Peñón Redondo, Panorama and surrounding settlements. Her humility and dedication are a living example that true leadership lies in selfless service to others, training 25 women every 8 days in arts, works and crafts, complemented with entrepreneurship and business training seminars, and also with older adults organizing a group of veterans that has called them “Let’s work and start with gray hair and enthusiasm” This idea contributes to improving the quality of life of this sector of the population.
With the children he carries out massive activities every year on their special days.
However, Monica’s path has not been without challenges. Lack of resources and limited institutional support are obstacles that she faces daily, but her determination and conviction are stronger than any adversity. With each smile of a child, with each hug of gratitude from her, Monica finds the strength to continue her noble work, knowing that each small step is a great advance towards a more promising future for her community.
