Carrying out prevention patrols, Municipal Guard agents from the Secretariat of Security and Citizen Protection (SSPC) arrested two subjects for carrying a prohibited weapon, one of whom was allegedly carrying drugs.
The first arrest was carried out in the streets of the Industrial San Luis neighborhood, when municipal agents were circulating on Coras Street they noticed the presence of a man who was drinking alcoholic beverages in public, which is why they stopped the police unit. to let the Police and Government Side know of the fault committed.
When they met with the man, Ángel N., 25 years old, they conducted a preventive security check and found a machete with a 35 cm metal blade wrapped around his waist.
The second arrest was made in the northern quadrant, when Municipal Guard agents were circulating on Vergel de la Luna Street, there they saw a subject who was apparently consuming drugs, stopping his march to interview him and let him know the probable offense committed. .
When reporting the administrative offense, the subject showed a violent attitude towards the officers, proceeding to take out a knife that he was carrying in his sweatshirt pocket. It was then that the officers reduced their movements and managed to disarm him.
It is worth mentioning that when carrying out a preventive search, a bag with dried green herbs similar to marijuana was found. Finally, the rights that assist him as a person in detention, who stated that his name was Luis Gerardo “N”, 26 years old, were read to him.
The detainees were taken to the Civic Justice area of the capital’s SSPC for a medical certification, later presented to the State Attorney General’s Office to determine their legal situation.
