The mayor of Providencia, Evelyn Matthei (UDI), leads future presidential preferences with a wide advantageas revealed this Sunday by the most recent measurement of the survey Citizen Pulse.
In the survey conducted in April, The communal leader obtains 28.5% of the preferences (3.6 points more than a month ago)followed by the founder of the Republican Party, José Antonio Kast, with 15.6% and the former president Michelle Bachelet (Socialist Party) with a 7.1%.
Other figures mentioned are the government spokesperson minister, the communist Camila Vallejo (3.5%), and the former candidate and founder of the PRO, Marco Enriquez-Ominami (2.2%). Meanwhile, 22.7% chose other possible candidates, 7.8% chose none, and 12.6% indicated they did not know.
LETTERS TO THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT
Regarding the candidates for the Metropolitan Government, the current regional leader, Claudio Orrego (independent, exDC), obtained 32% of the preferences in the surveyfollowed by Gino Lorenzini (5.1%), Gabriel Alemparte (4.4%), Macarena Santelices (4%), and Isabel Plá (3.3%).
Anyway, 51.2% indicated that they have not yet decided to vote.
PRESIDENTIAL APPROVAL, CENSUS AND MAIN REFORMS
The Pulso Ciudadano survey also consulted on the presidential administration until April, which achieved 26% approval and 61% disapprovalwhile 13% warned that they do not know how to evaluate the administration of Gabriel Boric.
Regarding the Census, 65.9% of households nationwide indicated that they have already answered it and a 90% evaluate as very good/good the performance of the person who asked them the questions.
When asked about the reforms that the country requires, 65.9% consider that it is pensions41.7% indicate that it is that of the political system and 25.5% indicate that it is the tax and fiscal pact.
Finally, the measurement revealed that the country’s main problems are: crime with 48.6%, immigration 34.4%, inflation 21.8% and drug trafficking 20.5%.
